Here's what some more of our members have to say

Parents that need convincing that karate can build confidence, physical well-being and respect for others should visit Shane Varneys Martial Arts School.  Master Varneys Ethics relate not only to hard work but to high morals and standards that will help your child through many aspects and challenges that lie ahead.  The benefits of Martial Arts under Master Varney are clear to see and we are very pleased that our daughter has had this experience.

We all enjoy Martial Arts, it is a fun activity which we can all participate in as a family.  As well as the obvious benifits of keeping us fit and active, we all enjoy the social side of the club and have all made new friends.

My children Sam and James both started karate when they were 5 years old, so this is well over 7 years. Sam is 12 years old now and is black/white belt and James is now 9 years old and a purple belt.

They both enjoy attending your classes, as they have benefited so much. The other pupils mix well and the teaching is professional and structured at all times. I feel this is good for my boys as it teaches them self defence, discipline and also aids to their overall fitness.

This will also take them into adulthood and not something that would just be done for young ages. I feel this is a plus point as start them off young and carry it through to adulthood where they could achieve so much and this is a good sport for an all over fitness, with the added advantage of this being good for self defence and confidence building.
